This site is dedicated to evaluate claims made by Turkish creationist Harun Yahya. Harun Yahya has been responsible for much creationist propaganda in the Muslim world; he is spreading disinformation and falsehoods in order to promote a Muslim version of Christian fundamentalists' creationism. Although his primary targets are clearly the secular-materialists which hold power in Turkey, yet Islamic activists from England to Indonesia are bent on extending this creationist propaganda and trying to mold Muslims' point of view so that Muslims view evolution as against Islam. Harun Yahya claims to be scientific; consequently his claims are open to scrutiny. He even puts a challenge to his opponents, the evolutionists, by saying that no evolutionist would be able to refute his arguments. While his fellow Christian creationists already have Christian (and secular) scientists countering their arguments, Harun Yahya has not meet any opposition from the Muslim world or elsewhere. Considering that his arguments are largely the same with other creationists' arguments, it is surprising to see that nobody had answered his challenge. Therefore, this site will offer the counterarguments Harun Yahya wished for. Harun Yahya's core arguments agains evolution is most comprehensively stated in his book 'The Evolution Deceit'. This book will be the main source of the claims evaluated here, as well as other articles by Harun Yahya.

An Appeal to Honesty As a scientist and a Muslim I cannot let Harun Yahya and his twisted propaganda gain approval from the uninformed Muslim communities all over the world. However my resources are limited and I may not be able to finish it alone. That is why I invite my Muslim brothers and sisters to join me in this project, by contributing scientific/philosophical/theological articles concerning evolution and/or Harun Yahya's views.
